Conway Police Department
The Conway Police Department Investigative Services Division is tasked with the responsibility of investigating felony level offenses that occur within the Town of Conway or any criminal offenses which require extensive or lengthy investigation. The Investigative Services Division also conduct applicant background investigations and are assigned other tasks as directed by the Chief of Police. Detectives are responsible for coordinating investigations involving controlled/narcotic drugs and work closely with outside agencies, such as the Attorney General's Drug Task Force and New Hampshire State Police Major Crime. Some of the responsibilities of the Conway Police Department's Investigative Services Division include:
Drafting and Applying for Search Warrants
Evidence/Property Collection, Control and Release
New Hampshire Sexual Offender Registrations
Applicant Background Investigations
Crime Scene Processing & Photography
Preparation of Criminal Cases for Presentation to the Carroll County Grand Jury
Illegal Drug Investigations in Cooperation with the Attorney General's Drug Task Force (DTF).
Cyber Crime Investigations to Include Child Sexual Exploitation Investigations in Cooperation with the New Hampshire Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force.
