On July 14, 2016 at approximately 10:31am officers from the Conway Police Department responded to a report of a home invasion involving an assault at 177 Grove Street in North Conway. The caller reported that two male individuals forced their way into the residence and assaulted his friend.
Upon arrival to the scene, officers spoke with the caller who stated that one of the assailants threatened him with a handgun to keep him from interfering with the attack. Through their investigation, officers learned the identity of the two assailants as

Both subjects fled the scene prior to officer’s arrival. The victim of the assault was transported by North Conway Ambulance to Memorial Hospital with non life threatening injuries. Later in the day, C.J. Thomas was located by State Police in the town of Madison. He was subsequently taken into custody and charged with:
-Second Degree Assault
Thomas is due in court later today on 07/15/2016.
